As I’m writing this, I’m on my way to my first day at work, wooooohooooo.
My journey with TriTek started on May 11, 2019 when a friend invited me to a taster session (had no idea what to expect, but went with an open mind). I was immediately sold and made FULL payment the following week. During the classroom sessions I was placed with an amazing group of people, most of which went on to form the amazing MARVEL team, for which I was the Lead Project Manager.
I will admit, my personality type lends itself to hands-on/practical learning versus theory so I wasn’t using LMS as well as I could have in the beginning, but WHEN I DID, I wished I had started sooner and been more efficient at it.
I must attribute my succes as a Project Manager to every single person in Team MARVEL, while we had some issues, the team as a whole came together in order to deliver tasks, learn outside of the roles and foster a healthy working environment.
Special thank you to our PMO Analyst Shade for dealing with my questions and really coaching me through the work experience with Tritek

I began my job search in October with a first draft of my CV (which was ?), and no bite. About two weeks later I was able to sit down with Adeshola and revamp my CV, and the very next day I began getting calls from recruiters. I was able to land 5 face to face interviews with major companies like Citibank, British Airways, and the Metropolitan Police.
After my second face to face interview with my current employer (A tech company in Central London), within 2 hrs I had received an offer letter for permanent employment as a Project Manager (AGILE), paying me a salary at the very top of the salary range posted without having to negotiate.
I always tell people who ask, TriTek is what YOU make of it. The tools are there, the people are there, LMS is there, and the experience is there IF YOU USE IT.
Prior to TriTek, I had no experience as a Project Manager, and now here I am. It works IF YOU WORK IT. I ended 2019 unsure of my financial future, disappointed in my personal life, having received some not so good news and burying a childhood friend, BUT because of an invite from a friend in May 2019 and the commitment to a vision by a young woman in 2017, my 2020 looks brighter!
Thank you Adeshola
Thank you Shade
Thank you TriTek
Thank you Dornu for forcing me to go to the Taster
Thank you to my class group
And FINALLY
THANK YOU TEAM MARVEL for giving me the confidence that I could be a good Project Manager.
